The Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) at 4315 Diplomacy Drive, Anchorage, Alaska 99508 intends to procure the services of a neonatologist(s) to provide consultant services to the staff and beneficiaries of the Indian Health Service (IHS). The Contractor shall provide an on call attending physician for Alaska Native infants 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. The Contractor shall serve as a consulting physician for neonatal patients hospitalized at ANMC. As consulting specialist the Contractor shall attend "high risk" deliveries in which such expertise would be required or requested by the Chief of Pediatrics or his designee. Response time for "high risk" deliveries shall be no longer than 30 minutes.. All services shall meet JCAHO and ANMC policies and procedures. These services will be for a base period of one year with options to extend for an additional four one year periods.
