to collect and analyze information about the capabilities within the
market to utilize simplified acquisition methods to obtain commercial
services to satisfy EPA's need to remove and dispose of a pile of
contaminated auto shredder fluff from the Gendron Junkyard Superfund
Site located on a 3 acre parcel in a residential area of Pelham, New
Hampshire. A draft statement of work can be can be downloaded from

Interested concerns that have provided commercial services for the
treatment and disposal of heavy metals and PCB contaminated soil from
hazardous waste sites are invited to attend a site visit conducted by
the contracting officer and EPA On-Scene-Coordinator, Frank Gardner, on
May 22, 1998. The Standard Industrial Classification code for this
procurement is 8744 Environmental Remediation Services with a size
standard of 500 employees. Interested concerns are instructed to notify
the contracting officer via Internet E-mail at

a source list can be developed and maintained for this acquisition.
Interested concerns are requested to: 1) submit any existing product
literature demonstrating capability; 2) identify firm size; 3) identify
whether it is socially disadvantaged as defined in FAR 19.001; and, 4)
arrange to attend the site visit. For existing product literature that
