This work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of existing built-up roof with new metal standing seam roof, including roof substructure. Acquisition will be through competitive negotiation procedures with qualified offerors. The areas of evaluation and their relative rank order are stated in section M of the solicitation. The government will award a contract whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and will provide the best value to the government by considering price and past performance. Past performance of proposed sub-contractors will also be considered in evaluating the prime contractor. Performance period for this project is a total of 195 calendar days. Phase 1, Submittal Phase, is not to exceed 45 calendar days. Phase 2, Construction Phase, is not to exceed 150 calendar days. Separate Notices to Proceed will be issued for each phase. General working hours are weekdays, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, excluding weekends and holidays. The SIC code is 1452. Estimated project magnitude isbetween $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The work is not located in a restricted or controlled area. There are no government-furnished materials for this project. Requests for solicitation packages must be submitted in writing or by FAX. Include with your request your company's business size and state whether proposing as a prime- or sub-contractor. Failure to state this information will result in no solicitation package being sent.
