G -- RESIDENTIAL CONTRACT SECURE JUVENILE FACILITY SOL RFP 200-0457-SE DUE 081998 POC Leah Wilson, Contracting Officer, (202) 307-3069 RESIDENTIAL CONTRACT SECURE JUVENILE FACILITY: Interested concerns having the ability to provide residential contract secure juvenile facility services for male and female Juvenile Federal offenders are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be within a 200-mile radius of Marianna, Florida. No operational hotel(s)/motel(s) will be considered as a facility for this requirement. Estimated total number of male and female inmate days is a minimum of 3,650 to a maximum of 7,300 for the one-year Base Period and four one-year option periods. The estimated RFP issue date iso/a June 19, 1998; the estimated closing date is o/a August 19, 1998. The contract Base Period is one year (June 1, 1999 through May 31, 2000) with four one-year option periods to renew (June 1, 2000 through May 31, 2004).
