This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAAE30-98-Q-1096 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). All incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. The SIC code is 3861 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Item description CLIN 0001: Industrial x-ray film procesor (1each), Tech Ord No: ARS70-6, Kodak Model B-2000 or equal. Must process all sheet film and roll film up to 17 inches(43/CM) wide and 49 1/2 feet long. Price must include the installation, one (1) set of manuals, and a one (1) year warranty. The FOB point is Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. The delivery date is 120 days after contract award. The following provisions apply: 52.212-1, "Instructions to Offerors-Commercial," 52.212-3, "Offeror Representations and Certifications-commercial Items," a completed copy of which shall be submitted with the quotation; 52-212-5, "Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive-Commercial Items." Basis for award will be based on the lowest priced, responsible offer. Quoters who offer an "or equal" product shall submit descriptive literature to determine acceptability of the product.
