(i)The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Washington, has a requirement for a high temperature fluidized bed heat treating furnace with a useable working zone dimension of not less than 20" diameter by 48" deep. The equipment will be used for hardening, carbonizing and nitriding alloy steels and tool steels. Onsite training services shall be required. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, 16 JUNE 1998, at 10:00 a.m., at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Bldg. 234, Portsmouth, VA.
