The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-98-G-0091 with Raytheon E-Systems, Inc. -- Waco. The resultant order will provide the required Contractor Engineering Technical Support for the E-6B aircraft at fielded locations (Tinker AFB, OK; Travis AFB, CA; NAS Patuxent River, MD; and Offutt AFB, NE) for the period August through December 1998. The order will be issued on a sole source basis to Raytheon E-Systems, Inc. -- Waco, the only source with the pre-requisite knowledge and experience in the design, development, and integration of the ABNCP modification of the E-6 aircraft.
