commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR
subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in
the notice. A written solicitation will be issued upon request. This is
a request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-98-Q-3FC879. This
solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. The standard
industrial classification code is 7011 and the size standard is $5.0
employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide
messing and berthing services for the crew of the CGC Sangamon.
Services to include breakfast, lunch and dinner for thirteen(13)
personnel and three(3) single rooms and eight(8) double rooms.
Performance period is 08/03/98 thru 09/12/98. Location of services will
need to be within 50 miles of President's Island in Memphis, TN.
Specifications to be provided on request. The government will award a
contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror
whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to
the government, price and other factors considered. The following
factors shall be used to evaluate offer: Price, Required Delivery Date.
