MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CENTER, TWENTYNINE PALMSMILITARY FAMILY HOUSING INDUSTRY FORUM On Wednesday, June 24, 1998, the Marine Corps will host a Family Housing Industry Forum at 8:30 a.m. at the Wyndham Palm Springs Hotel, located at 888 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way in Palm Springs, California. The Marine Corps is pursuing a privatization initiative at MCAGCC, Twentynine Palms to provide affordable housing for military families. The scope of this initiative includes the conveyance of over 1,700 existing military family housing units, the replacement of 467 of these units with newly constructed units, the construction of 106 replacement units, and the renovation of 200 units. Prior to the Forum, on Tuesday, June 23, 1998 at 10:00 a.m., the Marine Corps will be conducting a site tour of the Base and the Family Housing Areas. Space is limited.
