The US Department of Justice, Justice Management Division, Facilities and Administration Services Staff (FASS), intends to issue an IFB for construction of laundry facilities for the United States Border Patrol Academy at the US Naval Station in Charleston, South Carolina. Contractor duties will include demolition and the construction of the new facility, located within Building 28, Wing 5 of the US Naval Station. The estimated magnitude of this project is $100,000 to $250,000. Completion of all work after the Notice to Proceed is estimated at 120 days. All requests for a copy of plans and the solicitation will cost $25.00. Please make all checks payable to the Department of Treasury. Estimated issue date is July 01, 1998, with a due date for receipt of bids and bid opening 30 days after issuance. There will also be a pre-bid walk through for all interested contractors estimated to be around July 21, 1998. This requirement is a total set-aside for small business concerns.
