The Naval Undersea Warfare Center has a need for interpreting services to translate spoken words into sign language and vice versa, to enable deaf and hearing impaired persons to communicate with hearing persons. Our requirement is to have on-site services on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 0730-1130 (approximately 400 hours/year) and additional on call interpreter services at other times (approximately 100 hours per year). However, we are willing to consider alternate approaches and schedules. Our desire is to have maximum flexibility in providing these services to our employees, consistent with funding constraints.
