81 -- SHIPPING AND STORAGE DRUMS SOL N00181-98-R-0036 POC Kiera Rustay, Code 531.5A, (757) 396-8376; Mary Ward, Code 532, (757) 396-8376 Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex, proposes to procure various sizes and quantities of shipping and storage drums. Total of sixteen (16) different types. All shall be manufactured to U.N. Spec/U.N. Embossed. This will be awarded as an indefinite-delivery/requirements type contract with an ordering period of one (1) year. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. All shipments against the resultant contract shall be delivered to Norfolk Naval Shipyard by 12:00 p.m. (noon). If later than noon, Norfolk Naval Shipyard reserves the right to off-load or wait until the following business day at "no additional cost". Closing date for receipt of offers will be specified in the solicitation package when issued. Requests for solicitation packages will be accepted via mail only addressed to: Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex, Bldg. 1500, 2nd Floor, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000, Attn: K. Those contractors who have previously requested copies under solicitation number N00181-97-R-0039 need not re-submit their request as this solicitation is the replacement for N00181-97-R-0039.
