The solicitation packages will be available on July 15, 1998 with an anticipated bid opening on or about August 7, 1998. The successful bidder will be responsible for reorganizing and maintaining a comprehensive Leisure Library. The incumbent must have an extensive knowledge of outreach resources and services, specialized library materials, circulation systems, and cataloging systems. The incumbent will also work with instructors on materials appropriate for class usage. Will also be responsible for operating the enter library loan system within the institution. Keeping records and inventory of magazines and newspapers, reference materials and leisure reading books. The contract period is for one year with two one year options to extend the term of the contract. Additionally, the successful bidder will be required to pass a background investigation.
