Financial audit services for the Southeastern Power Administration's (SEPA) Southeastern Federal Power System's (SEFPP) fiscal year (FY) 1998 combined financial statements. The SEFPP includes applicable portions of two U.S. Departments, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and SEPA. The audit services are considered to be a Commercial Item as identified by FAR 12.205(c). The audit services will be conducted according to Government Auditing Standards, 1994 Revisions, and the Chief Financial Officer's (CFO) Act of 1990 (Public Law 101-576, November 15, 1990). The Contractor shall conduct an audit of and issue an opinion on management's representation of the entity's combined requirements. The Contractor should also perform a review of the overview, performance measures, and other supplemental data in the Annual Report package (including minimal review of supporting documentation) for consistency with the audited financial statements and notes per OMB audit requirements and any updates.
