The work consists of furnishing all equipment, labor, materials, and services, unless otherwise specified, to reclaim the Walnut Mountain Inc.: Permit 82-097. The project site is located in Anderson County Tennesee on the Duncan Flats (129NE) and Windrock, TN (129SE) USGS Quadrangle Maps at 36o05'36" latitude and 84o24'10" longitude on the slopes of Buffalo and Patterson Mountains at the 3100 and 3200 foot elevations. The area affected is drained by the Double Camp Creek, Laurel Fork Creek, and Ligas Creek in the New River water shed. The work involves: (1) Elimination and partial reclamation of 17 basins; (2) Establish drainage control to prevent excessive erosion with diversion ditch reconstruction; (3) Regrade all areas with rills and gullies >6"; and (4)Prepare seedbed for 100 acres, and overseed 50 acres to revegetate 150 acrers of the mine site, to include all internal access roads.
