R -- MODIFICATION TO TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CONTRACT OJP-95-C-006 POC Terence Haynes, Contracting Officer, 202.305.9845 The Office of Justice Programs (OJP) intends to modify on a sole source basis Contract OJP-95-C-006 entitled, EVALUATION OF OFFICE OF JUVENILE JUSTICE AND DELINQUENCY PREVENTION PROGRAMS, with Caliber Associates, 10530 Rosehaven Street, Suite 400, Fairfax, Virginia 22030. The contract is for objective assessments of the efficacy, cost effectiveness, and impact of the OJJDP programs implemented through discretionary grants, interagency agreements contracts, or formula grants. The modification will extend the expiration date of the contract from September 30, 1998 through January 31, 1999. During the extended period, the Contractor shall (1) continue performance of existing technical assistance projects and (2) perform additional technical assessments requirements that may be requested by OJJDP during the extended period. Also, during the extended period, OJP will recompete for a follow-on technical assistance contract to OJJDP. No solicitation is available since OJP intends to negotiate a contract modification with Caliber Associates. Any sources who want to be considered for this requirement must submit their capabilities in detail to the Contracting Officer listed above within 30 calendar days after the publication of this synopsis.
