The contractor shall select a maximum of 250 stems of conifers and hardwoods per acre conforming to a minimum approximate 13 x 13 foot spacing and cut all competing trees and brush on four units consisting of a total of 63 acres. The project area which is approximately 35 miles eastward along Highway 36 from Alton, CA on the Larabee Buttes/Butte Creek access roads.
