The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) will be negotiating with General Dynamics Land Systems on a sole source basis for this effort. The scope of this contract is to support the M485/M60A1 Armored Vehicle Launch Bridge (AVLB), the M60A3 Tank Thermal Sight (TTS), the M782 Combat Engineering Vehicle (CEV) and other M48/M60 vehicle configurations managed by Team Combat Support. The contractor will provide the information, supplies and services necessary to accomplish the engineering and related system technical support functions for the M48/M60 family of vehicles. Support will be defined in work directives and may include configuration management, configuration status accounting and engineering records, computer aided design, design and engineering analysis, drawings, engineering change proposals, engineering release records, engineering testing/test support, fabrication of hardware, field service support, general engineering, logistics, maintenance engineering, manpower,personnel, and training integration (MANPRINT), meetings/program support, packaging engineering, provisioning support, publication support, quality assurance, safety, specifications, standardization, and training.
