INVITATION FOR BIDS: IFB, drawings, and specifications will be available for Repair Fire Suppression -- Bldg 970, MIN 96-0030, at Minot AFB North Dakota O/A 06 Jul 98. Work is 10% general and 90% mechanical. Contract consists of removal and replacement of all overhead AFFF nozzles and piping, installation of new surge tanks, removal of all AFFF piping, valves, pumps, control valves, electrical, control panel, and storage tank in the pumphouse Bldg. 971, installation of a new AFFF tank, valves, and associated piping in Bldg. 970, and final testing of the system. Project magnitude is $250,000 to $500,000. Work is not in a restricted area and consists a of 180 day performance period.
