R -- DEVELOPMENT OF A PHYSICIAN PROVIDER BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT KIT, SOL 97-0165(P)-MCHB(KL) DUE 071098 POC Kimberly Lewis -- (301)443-4540 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to modify an existing purchase order (P.O. #97-0165(P)-MCHB) with Best Start Social Marketing, Inc., 3500 E. Fletcher Avenue, Suite #519, Tampa, FL 33613. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this modification is to develop a Breastfeeding Support Kit targeted specifically for physicians, a physician pamphlet, a Pocket Reference Guide and a patient letter which would influence women's decision to breastfeed. This new kit would coincide with the original version created by Best Start Social Marketing, Inc. that is geared toward the general health care provider community. The period of performance for this project is eight (8) months. Best Start Social Marketing, Inc. is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services.
