THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; BIDS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation No.CSC-88732-CH-28 is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB). Bidders shall provide unit price per pair for the following item: One (1) pair of Detroit Diesel Engines, Allison Model 8V-92TA, DDEC111, 530 HP, which shall include: Racor fuel/water separator with alarm relay; Drive pulleys for Jabsco pumps (yard supplies pumps); Drive for 12VDC alternators (yard supplies/install alternators); Drive for hydraulic pump (yard supplies pump and system); 24VDC alternators -- supplied, flange mounted; Twin Disc MG-5111/A Reversing Reduction Gear; Keel Cooling Recovery Tank with level switch; Air Shutdown (mechanical); Air Filter System (AIRSEP); Oil filter and cooler; Fuel filters (primary & secondary); Fresh water cooled exhaust maniflods; Voltmeter 24 VDC (yard supplies instrumentation); Level indication dipsticks located both sides (Engine and M/Gear). The unit price per pair quoted shall also include: start up, ABS testing, and four (4) copies of user's guide (Spanish and English, two (2) copies of each one). DELIVERY TERMS: Within sixty (60) days CIF destination Panama, Panama Canal Commission; Cristobal Dock 14; Panama, Republic of Panama, after receipt of notice of award.
