seeks sources for the purpose of modernizing through spares (MTS), the
ARL-COMINT systems, and conducting a Y2K of the Airborne
Reconnaissance Low-Communications Intelligence Payloads. In consonance
with the TRW proprietary software assessment and repair, the
Contractor shall replace and/or modify legacy system components that
are no longer economically or technically supportable. Specifically,
The Contractor shall replace the SUN SPARC 1E workstations with SUN
SPARC Ultra 2 workstations including the Solaris 2.6 Operating System;
replace existing Analog Audio Recorders with Digital Audio Recorders;
modifications for time code generator insertion for synchroniztion of
system clocks; port calibration software to SPARC Ultra 2 and Solaris
2.6; provide Y2K compliant networked post mission audio exploitation
ground units; and provide spares listing for sustainment of replacement
