511R -- REQUISITION IC, ET AL. The Joint Federal/DoD Logistics
Functional Working group is developing standard implementation
conventions to be used by the Federal Government in transmitting
electronic data using ANSI X12 Version 4010. Federal Implementation
Conventions for ASC X12 transactions: 511R -- Requisition IC, 517G --
Material Obligation Validation (GFM Validation), 830W -- Planning
Schedule with Release Capability (War Material Requirement), 527D --
Material Due-In and Receipt (Due-In/Advance Receipt/Due-In Validation),
527R -- Material Due-In and Receipt (Receipt, Inquiry, Response and
MRA), 830W -- Planning Schedule with Release Capability (War Material
Requirement), 846A -- Inventory Inquiry/Advice (Asset
Reclassification), 846D -- Inventory Inquiry/Advice (Logistics
Reassignment Transfer/Decapitalization), 846F -- Inventory
Inquiry/Advice (Ammo Freeze/Unfreeze), 846P -- Inventory Inquiry/Advice
(Physical Inventory/Transaction History), and 180M -- Return
Merchandise Authorization and Notification (Material Returns Reporting)
are available for public comment. Documents are available in electronic
