R -- The address for the Acquisition Service Center and place for receipt of proposals is VISN9/90, A&MM Service, 34l0 Lebanon Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37l29. Fax requests will be honored at 6l5-867-5429. No telephone requests will be accepted. This is a modification to change the address from a previous announcement. The Acquisition Service Center has a requirement for transmission of insurance claims to a clearing house. Billing must meet edit checks before being referred electronically to the health insurance carriers. The contractor will be required to receive and send formatted insurance claims, UB92 and HCFA l500, electronically, format and edit and forward/process to the individual payers. Services will be furnished during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays except in case of emergencies. All updates and edit checks must be updated within l4 calendar days of notification by health insurance carriers. On site computer software installation is required by the contractor. The contractor must provide the mapping to each carrier and customize the transmission to assure a clean transmission. The contractor must provide training for the Midsouth Customer Accounts center in Murfreesboro, TN as required in the area of system use and applications. The facilities involved are located at Huntington, WV; Lexington, KY, Louisville, KY, Memphis, TN; Mountain Home, TN; Murfreesboro, TN; and Nashville, TN. This procurement is for a one year period with one option year. Only written requests will be honored. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
