THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS THE PURPOSE OF SOLICITING SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS FOR THIS PROJECT. On or about 07/13/98, this office will issue a Request for Proposal for construction of Kansas City MO Wornall Station at Kansas City MO. Proposals will be Opened on 08/12/98 at 3:00 PM. THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC PROPOSAL OPENING. The value of the work is estimated to be between $1,300,000 and $1,700,000. Description of the work is the project consists of a one story facility of approximately 16,000 gsf including an enclosed mail platform. The contractor will be required to commence work within 10 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed and complete within 240 calendar days or May 3, 1999 whichever comes first. Liquidated damages will be accessed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. There will be a NON-REFUNDABLE FEE FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
