The activity requests proposals be limited to G.E. brand name or similar. All model numbers listed are G.E. Offeror must propose G.E. brand or similar. Award will be made for one manufacturer. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This amendment extends the closing date to 08-14-98. (ii) This solicitation number is M00146-98-R-0023. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal(RFP). (c) The Government may award a contract on the basis of initial offers received, without discussions.
