R -- CONTINUE TO DEVELOP THE NATIONAL RURAL HEALTH RESOURCE CENTER SOL HRSA-98-OA-A112344 DUE 073198 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the Northern Lakes Health Consortium, 600 E. Superior Street, Duluth, MN 55802. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to continue to develop the National Rural Health Resource Center that will build state and local capacity to do community based planning, build rural health networks and enhance managed care capabilities. The contractor shall provide technical assistance and training to rural communities in their own states; arrange training and provide materials to state and local personnel; maintain and expand a World Wide Web Home Page to facilitate electronic access to Center resources and links; and provide a final report on the project. The Northern Lakes Health Consortium is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is twelve months.
