REFER TO: AS99JT -- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with the Allen Systems Group, 1333 Third Avenue South, Naples, Florida for the continued maintenance and support of the Allen Systems PREALERT/IDMS/MVS and FAST ACCESS Non-Tiered Site Licensed software which are currently covered by SSA contract number 600-94-11601 which expires February 28, 1999. SSA will require a new contract for the maintenance of these products for a systems life of 4 years to be effective March 1, 1999. These software products are installed on all mainframe systems located in the SSA's National Computer Center (NCC)in Baltimore, Maryland. Allen Systems Group is the only known source capable of providing the required maintenance service for these proprietary software products. Other firms capable of providing the required maintenance service are invited to submit complete details. The responses must clearly state their ability to provide the necessary maintenance services required for the above stated software products. Responses should reference AS99JT and must be received by August 5, 1998. The Government does not intend to pay for information received.
