The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego (FISCSD) intends to negotiate a fixed-price/time-and-materials hybrid indefinite delivery requirements contract for the Naval Aviation Depot North Island Manufacturing Program Team Office (NADEPNI). The general scope of the contract is to enhance and expand NADEPNI capability to support stringent aircraft component schedules in the areas of manufacturing, engineering and numerical control programming. The successful offeror is responsible for providing off-site technical support, custom manufacturing, component processing and reverse engineering support services as directed by individually negotiated task orders. Offerors are expected to have access to a full service NC-type machine shop and sheet metal fabrication facilities. 43,719 direct labor hours are estimated for a one year base period and each of the four one-year option periods. FISCSD estimates an effective contract date of 01 January 1999. Offerors must provide a technical proposal addressing technical capability, three sample task order SOWs, key personnel qualifications and past performance information.
