The proposed action is for supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not t o compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered, solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All interested sources must identify the product by submitting pricing data and an accurate description of the equipment being offered, which includes the brand and model numbers. If there are no responses received by close of business July 28, 1998, a purchase order will be issued to the above named source.
