Morrison, Contracting Officer, 407/380-4052 The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division requires equipment and software as follows: ATM switch(es) which provide at least 12 OC-3 ports, is MPOA capable, runs PNNI 1.0, runs UNI 4.0, 3.1 and 3.0 (depending upon version being run by connecting device), runs all LANE 1.0 services with a free upgrade to LANE 2.0 when fully ratified, and provides capability for hosts connected to the 12 ports to belong to one ELAN; four (4) or more 10BASE-T or 10/100BASE-T Ethernet ports and equipment enabling hosts connected to these ports to communicate with hosts on an ELAN subnet or with hosts on a different subnet; twelve (12) OC-3 adapters (multimode fiber) for PCI bus with drivers for Windows NT 4.0 which implement LANE 1.0 and MPOA (free upgrades must be provided when LANE 2.0 standard is ratified); fiber optic cables for interconnecting all of the OC-3 ports of the adapters, switch(es) and any other equipment included (all of these cables must be at least 30 feet in length); and six (6) 100BASE-T cables at least 30 feet in length. The contractor shall install the above equipment and provide consultation services for one year. Standard warranties are desired. This procurement is set-aside for small business (see Note #1).
