Z -- REPAIR EXISTING ROOFING SYSTEM SOL BEP-98-38 DUE 090998 POC Tammy McLeod, Contract Specialist, (202) 874-3137 The Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP) intends to issue Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the repair of an existing roofing system at the BEP Western Currency Facility, Fort Worth, Texas. The work shall include but is not limited to the repairing of the Built-Up Roofing (BUR) system over the Western Currency Facility. The contractor shall repair the deficiencies in the roofing system which has resulted in leaking during rain. This project consists mainly of roof penetration repairs, roof flashing and/or replacement, and roofing system and installation repair and/or replacement. The estimated cost range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The contractor will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds prior to commencement of work. The bid opening date is scheduled for September 9, 1998 at the Western Currency Facility. Solicitation requests should reference the solicitation number.
