The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a modification to Contract No. N00019-97-C-0094 with Ultra Electronics of Cheltenham, England for the fiscal year 1999 procurement of High Pressure Pure Air Generators (HiPPAG). The HiPPAG is designed to be used on LAU-7 missile launchers to provide a continuous supply of cooling air to the Sidewinder missile seeker head. In addition, NAVAIR intends to contract Ultra Electronics to supply test sets for the HiPPAG. Ultra Electronics owns the proprietary data rights to HiPPAG and is the sole designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the HiPPAG.
