George Washington and Jefferson National Forests anticipate contracting
for the Bolar Flats Riprap Project at Lake Moomaw Recreation Complex,
Warm Springs Ranger District, Bath County, Virginia. The work involves
preparation of a foundation, machine-placement of riprap, and seeding
and mulching. There will be a single award made with a base bid item
and additive bid item depending on funding available. The completion
time for the base bid item is 9 calendar days and for the additive bid
item is 7 calendar days. The work start time is dependent on the water
elevation of Lake Moomaw but should take place in the early fall. The
project estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. The contract will be
awarded under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration
Project. All responsible sources may submit a quote for consideration.
