The work involves preparation of a foundation, machine-placement of riprap, and seeding and mulching. There will be a single award made with a base bid item and additive bid item depending on funding available. The completion time for the base bid item is 9 calendar days and for the additive bid item is 7 calendar days. The work start time is dependent on the water elevation of Lake Moomaw but should take place in the early fall. The project estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000.
