This acquisition is for a minimum quantity of 10 and a maximum quantity of 25 each for the Right and Left IMCPU, NSN: 1270-01-412-3603, Part Number 8500088-940 and NSN: 1270-01-412-3604, Part Number 8500088-921 in support of the OH-58D Aircraft. These items will be shipped FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance at Origin to Fort Worth, Texas at a rate of 3 each per month beginning 99 Mar 15. Authority and Justification for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The proposed procurement is for services and supplies which cannot be obtained through full and open competition because only one responsible source is capable of satisfying the Agency's requirements, FAR 6.302-1. Honeywell, Incorporated, Albuquerque, New Mexico is the only known source capable of performing this work in the timeframe required to satisfy the Army's minimum needs.
