58 -- MK-84, MOD 1 SIGNAL UNDERWATER SOUND SONOBUOY SOL N00164-98-R-0143 DUE 092598 POC Ms. Kathy King, Code 1165ZP, 812-854-3734, FAX 812-854-3465; Ms. Mary Brewer, Contract Specialist The Navy requires an estimated 6,000 each Mark 84 Signal Underwater Sound (MK-84 SUS) sonobuoys and a 100% option quantity to be manufactured in accordance with Production Sonobuoy Specification dated 17 October 1997, General Specification for Signal, Underwater Sound (SUS) MK-84, Mod 1, dated 7 August 1997, and applicable sonobuoy procurement documents, test procedures, and NAVAIR drawings. Stepladder pricing will be requested for the base award and option. Delivery shall commence approximately 12 months after date of contract (ADC) and shall be completed by 24 months ADC. Award will be made to the low, technically acceptable offeror who meets Government-determined qualification criteria.
