Holloway, Contracting Officer This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with format in subparts 12.6 and 13.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issued, proposals are being requested from this announcement, a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal number is 575-462-99. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-02. Standard Industrialization Code (SIC) of 7011 is applied. This solicitation is issued subject to the availability of government funds at time of award. This solicitation is unrestricted for the following service: Contractor to provide room accomodations, meals and shuttle service for the 1999 National Creative Arts Festival. Estimated dates for the event are October 10 -- October 17, 1999. Room requirements are -- twelve rooms on October 10, 1999 and 150 rooms each night for October 11 through October 16, 1999. Meals will be required as follows: Dinner for 12 people on October 10, 1999; breakfast buffet style, lunch buffet style, dinner buffet style for 150 people (each meal) for October 11, 1999 through October 16, 1999. Three receptions for 250 people each will be required. It is anticipated the Banquet room requirements will entail a minimum of 6000 square foot room space that will break out into a minimum of 6 rooms for rehearsals for 7 days. Contractor will be required to provide shuttle service for pick-up and departure of participants to and from the airport, train and bus. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The following provisions and clauses are applicable and are hereby incorporated into the solicitation by reference and will be provided by the contracting officer in full text upon request: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to offerors Commercial Item applies.
