H -- TESTING AND UPDATING OF EXISTING ELECTRIDCAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS SOL IFB 646-23-98 DUE 092198 POC Marian Ropelewski (412)365-5455 The Government has a requirement for electrical testing and updating of existing electrical distribution systems for the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System at its three (3) locations within the Pittsburgh, PA area. Contractor shall provide labor, materials, equipment, and supervision and perform work for NRM Project 646-96-104, "Electrical Testing and Updating of Existing Electrical Distribution Systems." SIC Code 8734 applies. Work includes, but is not limited to, Thermo-graphic inspection, testing, and cleaning. Work must be phased and coordinated at each location and completed within 180 calendar days. Personnel performing contract work must satisfy qualification requirements: field service personnel who have successfully demonstrated knowledge and experience in the field of electrical power distribution systems testing; Registered Professional Engineer; Certified Electrical Test Technologists or Technicians certified by NICET or NETA or equivalent (with minimum of 3 years similar work experience for the field supervisor).
