an existing 48,800 SF office/warehouse building on a 132,320 SF site.
Interior demolition includes removal of a temporary USPS retail space
and an existing office area. New interior construction Work consists
of a new retail store, workroom and support areas including
modifications and additions to existing loading docks. Additional work
includes the construction of an Entry Feature, dock canopy and cutting
new openings in existing exterior walls. The renovations include
demolition, modifications and additions to the plumbing, HVAC and
electric systems which include roof top units, power, lighting and
alarm systems, security camera systems, sprinklers and fire protection
systems. Exterior Work includes removals, renovations and additions to
the existing parking for customers, employees and postal vehicles and
loading dock maneuvering area and a turnaround driveway. Additional
development includes renovations and/or additions of walkways,
landscaping, site lighting, earthwork, soil erosion and sedimentation
control, fencing and storm water management systems. Offeror must have
a minimum of five (5) years experience as a General contractor and
must have satisfactorily completed at least five (5) projects of
similar size and scope. A Preproposal conference has been scheduled
for: August 25, 1998 @ 10:00 am at Ambler PA Post Office Conference
Room. The estimated price range is between $1,750,000 and $2,000,000
with completion required within 240 calendar days after receipt of the
Notice to Proceed. Solicitation packages will be available on or about
