Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Midwest Area, has a project entitled Replace Cooling Tower, National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research (NCAUR), Peoria, IL. The work includes but is not limited to: Main and Branch piping on five (5) separate levels of the South Wing; placement and support of the cooling tower; placement of new pumps and modification to existing pumps; electrical work will include electrical and control connectors to the cooling tower and pumps. The Magnitude of Construction is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. The period of performance will be 180 calendar days after receipt of a Notice to Proceed. A Bid Bond as well as Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required. The solicitation will be issued as Request for Proposal No. 5114-8-3093 and will be available on or about August 20, 1998, with proposals to be received not later than the Close of Business (4:00 p.m (CST)), September 21, 1998. The solicitation is issued pursuant to full and open competition and is unrestricted. Standard Industrial Classification Code of 1711, with a corresponding size standard of $7.0M.
