The Albuquerque Area Office Indian Health Service(IHS) is soliciting proposals from prospective offerors in the various medical health specialties. Services are to be provided to IHS beneficiaries who are Contract Health Service (CHS)Eligible. Professional medical health care to be provided on a referral basis from the IHS. Multiple requirements type contracts will be awarded for a base year with four, one-year options for renewal. As a policy of the Indian Health Service, dated June 30, 1986, Federal Register, Pages 23540 and 23541, IHS will contract with providers who will accept reimbursements at the allowable Medicare Rates or lower .
