The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Mount Weather Emergency Assistant Center (MWEAC) has a requirement for the purchase/installation of two vehicle in-ground lifts. One of the lifts shall have the lifting capacity of 26,000 lbs. and the second lift shall have the lifting capacity of 50,000 lbs. The work effort will be performed at FEMA MWEAC located at 19844 Blue Ridge Mountain Road, Bluemont, VA 20135. The demolition work includes: dismantle, remove and dispose of two existing in-ground vehicle lifts and their related components, piping and electrical wiring. This work also includes the cutting and removing of concrete and earth necessary to extract the two existing stationary posts of the two lifts; pump and dispose the standing hydraulic fluid in the two lifts' pits according to applicable EPA guidelines; clean and prepare two bays for the installation of new in-ground lifts. New installation work includes: the installation of two lifts with multi-position locking mechanisms and all related components, piping and electrical wiring. This work effort also includes earth back filling and concrete repair caused by the demolition work in the bay areas. The SIC code for this procurement is 3531 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. This Request for Quotation is set-aside for the small business concern.
