FISC San Diego is announcing its intent to issue a synopsis for shipboard furniture prepared in accordance with the form in FAR subpart 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The RFQ with all details and the statement of work will be available on August 26, 1998. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-4 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-11. The standard industrial code is 2599 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The agency need is for shipboard furniture for the USS Tarawa located at 32nd street NAVSTA San Diego. All items must meet from the shipboard furniture catalog (NAVSEA S9600-AD-GTP-010) and must meet all shipboard habitability. All other information necessary for bidding will be provided with the RFQ. All qualified small businesses may submit a bid. The government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose offer is the most advantageous to the government.
