The Government is performing a Market Survey to: 1) Acquire Potential Vendor Sources of supply, who are capable/interested in fabricating a lightweight airborne antenna in accordance with the Government drawings package specified below, and 2) The Government is similarly very interested in vendor sources who possess a "Commercial Item" equivalent to the antenna described by the following drawings package/performance parameters. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The antenna is a lightweight rigid airborne antenna for operation within the frequency range of 225 to 400 MHz. The antenna provides a vertically polarized omni-directional radiation pattern in the horizontal plane. INPUT POWER: 25 Watts maximum. NOMINAL DIMENSIONS: 5" wide X 9" high. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: The antenna shall be capable of satisfying the performance parameter requirements of MIL-A-14053, paragraphs 3.7 through 3.12, when the appropriate qualification tests of paragraphs 4.6 through 4.11 are performed. This specification can be provided bythe government POC below, when requested by a vendor. GOVERNMENT DRAWINGS (For build to print): CECOM Top Assembly Drawing SC-D-44954 (and all drawings listed thereon) technically specifies the fabrication/assembly of the militarized Antenna, AT-450/ARC. These drawings can be provided by the government POC below, when requested by a vendor. If a vendor wishes to be a source of supply for fabrication of the "build-to print" antenna, the vendor shall inform the POC below via e:mail with appropriate information/data (address/FSCM) about their company. If a vendor proposes a "commercial item" equivalent to the antenna described above, they shall provide (the government) a specification sheet/company catalog/literature of the commercial antenna.
