Work consist of, but is not limited to, replacement of existing kitchen ventilation systems in four (4) buildings including replacement of existing exhaust fans, make-up air units, hot water pumps, hot water piping, and portions of the existing ductwork system located in mechanical rooms and servicing areas. Contractor shall be required to perform modifications such as installation of new steam piping, condensate return piping, manual balancing dampers located in the existing ductwork system, and installation of related equipment controls. Also, work shall include replacement of existing heat only coils with dual temperature coils in three (3) make-up air units and related controls and duct insulation. This acquisition is subject to the availability of funds. Period of Performance is 240 calendar days. The magnitude of this project is estimated between $250,000.00 to $500,000.00.This acquisition is subject to the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988; therefore, will be solicited on an UNRESTRICTED basis. Subsequent award will be made pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. An evaluation preference for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns will be contained in this solicitation. SIC 1711/$7.0 Million. For the purpose of determining small business status for this solicitation, the average annual receipts of a concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $7.0 million in order to be considered a small business concern.
