The Navy intends to issue a contract modification for contract N00019-96-C-0029 to McDonnell Douglas Corporation to upgrade the Academic Subsystem at NAS Kingsville for the purpose of having a configuration of new computers that are compatible with the training devices in NAS Meridian. The Navy also intends to have McDonnell Douglas correct a deficiency by implementing a software baseline maintenance effort as a means of accomplishing Training Equipment Change Requests (TECRs) in support of the Simulator Subsystem. This effort shall include three man years of effort to support design, development, test and document low-impact software modifications to the simulator.
