Potential Sources Sought: The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics
Center is seeking qualified sources that can provide the manufacture,
inspection, testing, packaging, and shipping of the following Shaft,
Coupling Half: NSN 3040-12-318-8360, ZF Industries Part Number
3052309472, fifteen bolt hole coupling, without key, hydraulic fit to
propeller shaft. It is the Government's belief that only ZF Industries
or their authorized distributors can furnish the required couplings
and ensure the proper fit, form and function. However, other potential
sources with the expertise and required capabilities to furnish other
the ZF Industries couplings can submit such data discussing the same
in duplicate within 15 days form the date of this announcement. The
following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of
the offered replacement couplings: 1) Complete and current engineering
data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered replacement (i.e.
Salient physical functional, and serviceability characteristics, or 2)
Data that the offered replacement has been satisfactorily provided to
the Government or the original equipment manufacturer. This data must
include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate
the proposal relative to the above requirements. No cost or pricing
data is required. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR
INFORMATION ONLY. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 5.207(e)(3).

Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The
Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged
Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority,
women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire
short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related
contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program
(STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000. For further
