Reference is made to previous synopsis originally posted 26 Feb 98 concerning solicitation SP0100-98-R-0028 for COAT, WOODLAND CAMOUFLAGE, TEMPERATE, TYPE I. The minimum and maximum quantities for the base and each option term have been changed for this item. The minimum quantity for each ordering period is now 900,000 each and the maximum quantity is 1,500,000 each. Another item has been added to the solicitation. The item is COAT, WOODLAND CAMOUFLAGE, ENHANCED HOT WEATHER, TYPE VI. The minimum quantity for each ordering period is 900,000 each and the maximum is 1,800,000 each. As in the original synopsis, there will be a base ordering period and four option terms. The base ordering period and each of the option terms are expected to last a maximum of 17 months. Multiple awards in increments of 30%, 25%, 20%, 15% and 10% of the solicited quantity are anticipated. Expected issue date of the solicitation is 21 Sep 98.
