The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) through the Program Support Center, ADP Acquisitions Branch plans to award a sole source simplified acquisition to the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) to produce technical assistance materials which can be used by all 50 States. The Contractor shall identify, design, and train networks of older adults, service providers and advocates to build mental health, aging, and primary care coalitions across State and community levels. The goal of these coalitions will be to increase public awareness of mental health, aging and primary care issues while improving the provisions of mental health services to older adults. The simplified acquisition anticipated award date is on or about September 8. No solicitation is available. The proposed simplified acquisition action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement within 15 days after date of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed simplified acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
