The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Information Resources Management Division, Cincinnati, Ohio is in need of off-site records management services for protection of paper records and LAN back-up tapes as part of our overall disaster recovery plan. The contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, services, equipment and facilities to receive incoming shipments of records, paper and electronic; to store these records in an environmentally controlled area; enter records into the contractor's tracking database; provide a monthly report, in paper and in Corel 8 on a 3-1/2" diskette, showing records locations of all boxes and tapes; return records as requested; transfer records to Dayton FRC; or destroy records based on EPA disposition schedules. Records shall be returned to EPA as requested, on the same day if notified by 1 p.m., the next day if notified after 1 p.m. and emergency deliveries shall be made within two hours. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed-fee contract with a twelve-month base term and three (3) twelve month options to extend the term. This is a small business set-aside. This procurement will be processed using full and open competition under FAR Part 13 (simplified acquisition procedures). The SIC is 7389. It is anticipated that request for quotations shall be issued on 8/27/98, with quotes due on COB 9/10/98.
